Robert Izor, MD, MS

Izor, MD, MS

Robert Michael Izor, MD, MS, a Fellowship-trained neurologist, has a distinguished academic background in molecular immunology as well as medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and holds a Master of Science in Molecular Immunology from the University of Texas Health Science Center - Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana and a residency in Neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency training, Dr. Izor completed Fellowship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston, with a focus on Movement Disorders. Dr. Izor is board certified in Neurology.

Dr. Izor has provided neurological care for patients in hospital and clinic settings, and specializes in treating patients with movement disorders. He also serves as an instructor with Medtronic Corporation. His clinical studies have been published in esteemed medical journals, and he is an active member of numerous medical organizations. Dr. Izor received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, and pursued postbaccaleureate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Houston.
