Brian Metzger, MD, MPH

Brian Metzger, MD, MPH

Brian Metzger, MD is board-certified in Infectious Diseases & Internal Medicine. Dr. Metzger graduated with honors from the University of Miami where he majored in Biology & Minored in Chemistry, English & Economics. He then moved on to Emory University to accomplish his Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology then received his medical degree from Medical College of Georgia.

His post-graduate training in Internal Medicine was at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and finally became a Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Metzger has won awards including scholarships, has written several publications & is often asked to speak at conferences on his expertise. He is currently practicing with Austin Infectious Disease Consultants, PA.
