Alexa Bodman, MD
Alexa Bodman, MD brings surgical expertise and compassionate care to patients in treating a broad range of neurological conditions. She is designated as board-eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science degree, she earned her medical degree and completed her neurological surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. Dr. Bodman furthered her training at Emory University in Atlanta where she completed a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology.
Dr. Bodman has enhanced her field as a researcher and published numerous articles in medical journals on topics including brain tumor treatment and cervical dislocation. She has also given clinical presentations on glioblastoma, spinal cord lesions and other topics.
She is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Society of Neuro-Oncology. Dr. Bodman has also served as a reviewer for the publication World Neurosurgery.
